Job summary

Arcesium LLC is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Platform Site Reliability Engineering (PSRE) team in Lisbon. You will ensure stability, reliability and availability of mission-critical production applications on the Arcesium platform, leading incidents during NY hours and driving proactive reliability initiatives.

The role emphasizes observability, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations to minimize downtime and improve system

Qualifications

2+ years in SRE, DevOps or Production Engineering
Incident management experience including triage and resolution of outages
Proficiency in Python or Java for automation
Hands-on Kubernetes for container orchestration
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Legal right to work in Portugal

Responsibilities

Lead incidents during NY business hours, owning communication and resolution
Monitor health and performance; analyze trends to prevent incidents
Troubleshoot complex issues across app, infra and network layers
Collaborate with engineering, development and operations teams
Develop tools and scripts to automate tasks and improve reliability
Contribute to ongoing SRE practices and knowledge sharing
