Vodafone Portugal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms and infrastructure, delivering modern digital services. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

You will collaborate with software, DevOps, security, and platform teams to implement cloud-native solutions, automate using IaC, and promote best practices across the organization.

Competenze

• Experience designing and operating enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and containers.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Linux systems administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Experience with monitoring/observability and cloud security principles.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain cloud platforms supporting enterprise apps and microservices.
• Develop IaC solutions and automate deployment pipelines.
• Manage container platforms and Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Ensure platform reliability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to define cloud standards.
• Mentor engineers and promote cloud engineering best practices.
