Job summary

Convatec is seeking a junior to mid-level Accountant to perform selected accounting and reporting tasks in the general ledger. The role supports reconciliation and accurate reporting for the assigned entities in a hybrid work setup.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and good English communication. A Finance/Accounting degree is required, with SAP being a plus. The position offers a competitive remuneration package and flexible office days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of accounting and finance experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office; SAP is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and be proactive in improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned accounting and reporting activities in line with defined processes and deadlines.
• Update process documentation as required.
• Respond to finance queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners & stakeholders.
• Escalate issues to (Senior) Country Accountant or RTR Team Lead.
• Act as a team player and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Support cross-process and cross-functional cooperation to achieve goals for GBS.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislation.
• Identify improvement areas and participate in implementation.
