WE ARE META is seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to join as a consultant. The role emphasizes Oracle RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and PostgreSQL administration, delivering robust disaster recovery, performance tuning, and automation.

The position supports a hybrid work model with 1 day on-site per week in Lisbon, Coimbra or Braga, and requires Portuguese/EU eligibility for work in Portugal. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience and English at B2 level, with hands-on skills

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience as Database Administrator.
• Hands-on Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and OEM/Cloud Control for monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Proficient in SQL tuning using SQL Tuning Advisor, AWR, and execution plans; scripting automation via bash, cron, PowerShell, and Python.
• PostgreSQL administration including pg_dump/pg_restore, pgAdmin, vacuum, scram-sha-256/SSL security, and SSMS.
• Fluency in English (B2 Level).
• Availability for a hybrid model, 1x/week, based in Lisbon, Coimbra or Braga; Portugal-based or EU permit.
