Devexperts is seeking a Database Administrator to manage Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security across production and pre-production environments. You will design database structures, optimize queries, implement backups, and monitor system health while collaborating with developers and IT staff.

The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL 13+, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and automation tools.

Qualificações

• Experience with Oracle Database 19c and PostgreSQL 13+
• Experience in high availability environments (RAC)
• Disaster recovery with Data Guard and RMAN backups
• Proficient in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience with automation and Unix/Windows admin basics

Responsabilidades

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle and Postgres databases for performance and security
• Design and implement database structures based on business requirements
• Plan and execute upgrades and patching to keep systems current
• Develop backup and recovery strategies and test DR capabilities
• Ensure database security and safeguard sensitive data
• Provide user support and collaborate with developers and IT staff
• Create and maintain thorough database documentation
