ADENTIS Portugal seeks a Senior Database Administrator to manage Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL in a challenging international environment. The role emphasizes high availability, performance tuning, and incident resolution.

You will collaborate with global DevOps teams, participate in on-call rotations, and may visit the Lisbon office one or two days per week. Spanish and English at B2 level are required; EU citizenship or Portuguese visa is necessary.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Senior DBA with 5+ years managing Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong Oracle database administration and incident resolution experience (5+ years).
• Hands-on with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, Restart, GoldenGate.
• Experience in high availability, performance tuning, and securing mission-critical databases.
• Ability to collaborate with international DevOps/infrastructure teams.
• Spanish and English mandatory (minimum B2).
• Willingness for on-call rotation and weekend interventions.
• Willingness to work on international projects; EU citizenship or Portuguese visa.
• Office attendance once or twice per week.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Database Administrator working with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
• Strong experience in administration and incident resolution for Oracle databases (5+ years)
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with the following Oracle ecosystem technologies:
• Oracle Data Guard (configuration and management)
• Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) (administration and operations)
• Oracle ASM and shared storage management
• Oracle Restart
• Oracle GoldenGate (implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Experience managing, optimizing, and securing mission-critical databases
• Experience with performance tuning and high-availability environments
• Ability to collaborate with international DevOps and infrastructure teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Spanish mandatory (minimum B2 level)
• English mandatory (minimum B2 level)
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Availability for planned weekend interventions
• Willingness to work on international projects
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
• Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.

Nice to have:

• Oracle Administrator Certified Professional certification (12c/19c)
