IRIUM Portugal is seeking a Database Administrator to manage Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments in Lisbon. This role focuses on high-availability, performance, security and business continuity in a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, SSMS, pgAdmin, and experience with backups, DR and migrations. Portuguese and English skills required, with Spanish a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration in critical environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of MySQL.
• Experience with Linux, Unix and Windows Server.
• Experience with backups, restoration and disaster recovery.
• Performance tuning and query optimisation.
• Security policies and access management.
• Automation with Bash, Cron, PowerShell and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases and related tooling.
• Administer and optimise PostgreSQL and SQL Server environments.
• Plan upgrades, migrations and DR/testing activities.
• Monitor performance, security and incident resolution.
