Hexa is seeking Junior to Senior Application Support Engineers for a hybrid role based in Porto, with two office days weekly. You will support production applications in financial services, ensuring stability and performance across environments.

Key responsibilities include incident resolution, knowledge growth, change coordination, and documentation. English proficiency (minimum B2) and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• Professional experience in application support, production support or similar roles.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments and systems administration.
• Proactive approach to incident management and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in demanding and fast-paced production environments.
• DevOps mindset and willingness to learn and evolve.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Professional working proficiency in English, minimum B2 level.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve production incidents effectively, ensuring service continuity.
• Develop technical and functional knowledge of the assigned applications.
• Identify recurrent incidents and contribute to effective long-term solutions.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure in line with established SLA requirements.
• Follow up and coordinate technical operations, infrastructure changes and planned interventions.
• Participate in application and infrastructure change management with development, sysadmin, DBA and networking teams.
• Keep application documentation up to date, including architecture, procedures and monitoring needs.
• Manage backup data and ensure regular restore testing.
• Control application load capacity and support operational stability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours interventions when required.
• Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of existing procedures.
• Work closely with development teams to support new application architecture in line with infrastructure standards.
