Ivy Partners in Lisbon is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to own local HR operations, with a strong focus on payroll, HR administration and employee support.

You will work with the HR Director, Finance team and local management to ensure smooth HR processes and a great employee experience across the Portuguese organisation.

Qualificações

• Experience in Payroll and HR Administration in Portugal.
• Knowledge of Portuguese labour law and Social Security processes.
• Autonomous management of HR topics from A to Z.
• Organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and service mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Payroll & HR Operations: coordinate payroll, manage social security, absences, contracts, and ensure legal compliance.
• Employee Lifecycle: onboarding/offboarding, new hire declarations, probation tracking, primary HR contact.
• HR & People: support managers, coordinate with institutions/partners, drive HR initiatives, improve processes.

Ivy Partners is a Swiss consulting company supporting organisations in their strategic, technological and organisational challenges.

As we continue to grow our activities in Portugal, we are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lisbon and take ownership of our local HR operations.

Your role

You will be the key HR contact for our Portuguese operations, with a strong focus on Payroll, HR Administration and employee support.

Working closely with our HR Director, Finance team and local management, you will ensure smooth HR operations while contributing to a great employee experience.

Your responsibilities

Payroll & HR Operations

• Coordinate the monthly payroll process, from preparation of variables to final validation
• Manage Social Security declarations and contributions
• Handle absences, sick leave and attendance administration
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments and HR documentation
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese labour legislation and HR requirements

Employee Lifecycle

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
• Manage new hire declarations and contractual changes
• Monitor probation periods and contract renewals
• Act as a key HR contact for employees and managers in Portugal

HR & People

• Support managers on day-to-day HR matters
• Coordinate with local institutions and external HR partners
• Contribute to employee development, training and HR initiatives
• Help continuously improve our HR processes and employee experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience within a consulting company or professional services environment is highly valued
• Solid experience in Payroll and HR Administration in Portugal
• Good knowledge of Portuguese labour law and Social Security processes
• Comfortable managing HR topics autonomously from A to Z
• Organised, reliable and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a genuine service mindset

Languages

• Portuguese: Native
• English: Professional
• French is a strong advantage

This is not just an administrative HR position. You will have real ownership of our Portuguese HR operations and work closely with both our Lisbon and Swiss teams.
