Jobgether is seeking a Head of Observability to define and scale a comprehensive observability strategy for a high-scale platform. You will own internal reliability tooling and a customer-facing observability product, unifying logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting into a cohesive ecosystem.

This remote-first role requires deep leadership and hands-on implementation across OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tooling.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Proven experience building, scaling, or operating observability platforms in high-scale production environments.
• Deep expertise across logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, and VictoriaMetrics.
• Strong product mindset and ability to treat observability as a developer-facing product.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, remote-first environment and shape architecture decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead end-to-end observability strategy across internal and customer-facing products.
• Architect and evolve a unified observability platform for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Establish SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and capacity planning.
• Own the customer-facing observability experience including dashboards and alerts.
• Build and lead a high-performing observability engineering team.
• Drive adoption of instrumentation standards using OpenTelemetry.
• Design and operate high-throughput telemetry pipelines for ingestion and analytics.
• Ensure cost-efficient observability infrastructure and support growth.
• Champion a dogfooding culture aligning internal tooling with customer experiences.
