Dremio is seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to design and deliver scalable observability and core services. You will own telemetry ingestion, real-time dashboards, and alerting with AI-driven insights, while crafting infrastructure via Helm and Terraform.

You will collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to standardize cross-team workflows, support enterprise-scale deployments, and advance integration milestones with SAP HANA/BDC. A strong Java background and cloud experience are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years experience using Java
• 2+ years hands-on with infrastructure-as-code (Helm, Terraform)
• Deep experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry or comparable observability platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)

Responsabilidades

• Build and own an observability platform that ingests customer telemetry — events, logs, and traces — using OpenTelemetry and industry best practices
• Deliver dashboarding and visualization capabilities that give Support and Field teams real-time visibility into system health, emerging issues, and trends
• Design and implement a notification and alerting system driven by telemetry data and heuristics with AI agents and lakehouse intelligence
• Write infrastructure-as-code with Helm and Terraform to simplify deployment and operations within Dremio Software
• Build and maintain application frameworks that standardize development across teams
• Partner with SRE and DevOps teams to define best practices and deliver standardized solutions
• Engage with the developer community to understand pain points and drive platform improvements
• Help define and deliver roadmap and integration milestones with SAP HANA/BDC platform
