Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Head of Infrastructure Engineering to drive operational excellence, reliability, and scalability across its global infrastructure. You will own platform engineering, automation, SRE strategy, and design a secure, scalable hybrid architecture spanning cloud and on-premises.

Lead global teams, partner with Engineering, Security, Product, and Finance to align infrastructure investment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure or SRE teams at scale.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid CI/CD and GitOps experience.
• Demonstrated SRE practice with SLOs, incident management, postmortems, and capacity planning.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with high-availability and disaster-recovery design.
• Experience expanding infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and infrastructure costs.
• Comfortable operating at both executive and detailed engineering levels.

We’re looking for a Head of Infrastructure Engineering to drive operational excellence, reliability, and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning the global infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and SRE strategy
• Designing and evolving a secure, scalable hybrid architecture across cloud and on-premises
• Leading infrastructure expansion into new regions with repeatable deployment models
• Driving automation through IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, and self-service platforms
• Owning reliability, performance, capacity, security, compliance, and cost efficiency
• Building and leading infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams
• Staying close to implementation by reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and guiding incidents
• Partnering with Engineering, Security, Product, and Finance team leaders on infrastructure investment

What You’ll Need

• Significant experience leading infrastructure, platform, cloud, production, or SRE teams, owning business-critical infrastructure at scale
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid CI/CD and GitOps experience
• Demonstrated SRE practice with SLOs, error budgets, incident management, postmortems, and capacity planning
• Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability platforms
• Familiarity with high-availability and disaster-recovery design
• A track record leading infrastructure expansion across multiple regions
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and infrastructure costs
• To be comfortable operating at both executive and detailed engineering levels

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises
• Compliance familiarity (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Experience with large-scale cloud providers
