Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Head of Foundation Processes to lead and optimize ITIL-based operations across Change, Request, Configuration, Test, and Performance Management. You will steward a global team and partner with Digital Core and external partners to ensure high-quality service design, delivery and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes risk ownership for cybersecurity and driving adoption of new processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Service Management in a large enterprise.
• Proven track record delivering business-led projects, including UAT and adoption.
• Strong leadership of distributed/global teams across time zones.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow and ITIL-based service management practices.
• Ability to address cybersecurity risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as the Head of Foundation Processes, where you will take charge of managing and optimizing operations across Change, Request, Configuration, Test, and Performance Management processes. You will lead a global team, steering service quality and cost while continuously improving these processes to maximize output for all teams within Digital Core. Collaborating closely with various departments, business units, and external partners, you will ensure seamless service design, implementation, and delivery. As the Business Project Manager for your process teams, you will oversee project execution and act as the main Risk Owner, addressing cybersecurity risks to maintain compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage and continuously improve Foundation Processes by applying ITIL practices to elevate service management maturity.
• Own the risk position for your processes, driving the mitigation of risks identified by Cybersecurity (CYS).
• Steer service quality in alignment with service costs, ensuring the needs of Digital Core teams are met.
• Define business objectives for projects within your scope, control project scope, and approve deliverables on behalf of the business.
• Lead a global team, setting clear objectives, enhancing performance, and fostering skill development across your processes.

What You Bring

• Strong knowledge of Service Management and related technologies, particularly in operational technology within a shopfloor environment.
• Several years of experience managing services and collaborating with departments and external partners in a large enterprise setting.
• Proven track record in delivering projects from the business side, including defining objectives, running User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and driving adoption.
• Experience leading distributed or global teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Service Management tooling, especially ServiceNow, along with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
