Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Director of Professional Services, WordPress VIP, based in Portugal. This senior role leads a global, remote delivery org focused on migrations, implementations, and complex engagements for enterprise customers.

You will shape a high-autonomy delivery function, drive AI-enabled modernization, and own revenue, margin, and expansion opportunities while aligning with Sales, Product, Support, and Account Management.

Qualifications

8+ years of leadership in Professional Services or a delivery function.
5+ years delivering services for enterprise SaaS or PaaS customers.
Proven experience defining a services portfolio with pricing and repeatable delivery models.
Demonstrated commercial ownership beyond delivery, including tying performance to revenue and margins.
Strong understanding of AI-augmented delivery models and practical use of AI to improve workflows.
Ability to communicate clearly with executive stakeholders and customers.
Proven people leadership and coaching of delivery leads and managers.
Operator-first mindset with ability to balance strategic planning and delivery detail.
Strong commercial judgment and ability to discuss revenue, margin, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a Professional Services organization across engineers and delivery managers.
Own end-to-end delivery performance, including health, escalations, outcomes, quality, timelines, and scope.
Build an AI-augmented delivery organization to accelerate execution and capacity for complex work.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of Professional Services offerings that can be scoped, priced, and delivered.
Oversee the commercial performance of Professional Services, including revenue and margins.
Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to scope and price engagements and identify expansion opportunities.
Set the strategic direction for Professional Services within the Customer Experience leadership team.
Differentiate the services portfolio with evidence of impact and value for clients.
Work with Product, Support, and Account Management to establish feedback loops for improvement.
Represent Services with senior stakeholders on complex engagements and coach delivery professionals.
