Job summary

AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a hands-on analytics leader to shape the strategy, development, and scaling of Agentic AI capabilities for commercial teams. You will partner with global and regional stakeholders to embed AI into processes, ensuring governance and security while enabling scalable, trusted AI solutions across markets.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, analytical consulting, or data product development.
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python experience for data prep, exploratory analysis, and prototyping.
• Experience with LLMs, Databricks notebooks, Jupyter, or comparable analytics environments.
• Understanding of relational data, data warehouses, data lakes or lakehouses, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, design, and scaling of Agentic AI use cases that automate workflows and support commercial processes.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Field Excellence, Medical, and Digital teams to translate business challenges into AI capabilities.
• Design and oversee AI agents that synthesize data, generate insights, and support planning and execution.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Technology, and AI platform teams to ensure secure data access for AI agents.
• Define governance, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop processes for responsible AI deployment.
• Drive multi-agent architectures coordinating analytics, customer engagement, content, and operational workflows.
