Job summary

NIKE, Inc. in Lisbon is seeking a Head Coach to lead a high-performing retail team. You will create a welcoming store environment, coach staff, and drive sales while upholding NIKE standards.

The role requires several years in retail with management experience, strong English, and the ability to work weekends. You will collaborate with stores and HQ to deliver exceptional customer service and Nike moments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years retail experience, or 7 years retail experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 4 years management experience.
• Experience in retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams.
• Ability to utilize tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment in-store to provide a unique shopping experience.
• Build, lead, and develop a diverse team and ensure excellent work atmosphere.
• Manage store budgets and operations to reach sales targets, optimize services and improve the consumer satisfaction.
• Support and implement NIKE’s strategy in your store (e.g. sustainability, membership, digital services).
• Provide insights for an optimized positioning of the store in the local region.
• Ensuring that the store complies with all NIKE standards and guidelines.
• Cooperating with your business partners across stores and HQ.
