Job summary

Leonteq, a Swiss fintech, is seeking a graduate to join the Non-Financial Risks & Risk Governance team in Lisbon. You will support IT risk management, information security and regulatory compliance, collaborating with IT, security and business stakeholders to align systems and policies with internal standards.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Information Security, IT, Cybersecurity, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of IT risk, information security, cybersecurity and risk governance concepts.
• Excellent communication skills with clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to think critically, challenge constructively and ask the right questions.
• Collaborative mindset and genuine interest in building a career in risk management.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Portuguese or German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational risk assessments and analyses, focusing on AI, IT, information security and cyber risk.
• Support the identification, assessment and monitoring of operational and technology-related risks.
• Investigate risk events and conduct root-cause analysis; track remediation efforts.
• Assist in assessing IT and cybersecurity-related risks and controls.
• Help prepare presentations, policies, procedures and reporting materials within the team.
• Support risk training programmes and monitor completion rates.
• Prepare operational risk reporting for the Board and senior management.
• Support regulatory submissions and interactions with FINMA and EU regulators.
• Contribute to KPIs/KRIs and dashboards development.
