Job summary

Decskill is growing our IT team in Portugal, offering challenging backend development roles using Go (Golang) and microservices. You will design, implement and maintain RESTful APIs, containerized with Docker, and work with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing applications with Go (Golang).
• 2+ years of overall backend software development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining microservices-based applications.
• Experience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including automated testing, debugging, code reviews and version control with Git.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Business-fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto.

• More than 2 years of experience developing applications with Go (Golang).
