Job summary

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Vendor Management Senior Manager to orchestrate BCG X's contingent workforce operations globally. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle—from market research and partner negotiations to onboarding, quality assurance, and financial settlement—while mentoring a distributed team across time zones.

Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus. You will drive AI-enabled processes, ensuring compliant, efficient operations and strategic vendor

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contingent workforce operations.
• Deep expertise in procurement or contingent workforce management—end-to-end vendor relationships.
• Experience leading and developing teams in distributed, cross-functional groups.
• Proven ability to navigate senior stakeholder relationships with leaders and external vendors.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools or keen interest in applying AI to workflows.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Portuguese/Japanese/Mandarin a strong plus.
• Experience with vendor management systems (e.g., SAP Fieldglass) and MS Office.
• Self-sufficient and resilient—manage complex multi-stakeholder processes with tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work in-office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle: market research, partner identification, negotiations, onboarding, QA, and financial settlement (timesheets and invoices).
• Mentor and lead Vendor Management Specialists across the globe to drive accountability and operational excellence.
• Position BCG X as a leader in intelligent workforce management by integrating AI tools into vendor management processes.
