Job summary

Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to manage ordering activities across several European regions, including Portugal. The role involves PR and PO handling, supplier communications, and operational sourcing within a hybrid setup.

Ideal candidates have experience in supply chain or procurement, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize under pressure, with English fluency and optional knowledge of additional European languages.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Be customer focused and able to prioritize under emergencies.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new tools and change.
• Fluent in English is required.
• French, Spanish or German would be a plus.
• Enjoy a dynamic, multicultural environment with varied tools and products/services.
• Show reliability, rigor and concentration at work.
• Digital acumen is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review of Purchase Requests (PRs).
• Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs.
• Operational Sourcing.
• Service Desk activities for internal stakeholders.
• Maintenance of information records (e.g., catalogues).
• Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Use of SAP (Airbus ERP) and Coupa tools.
