Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Civil Site Engineer to oversee civil construction works on large-scale power plant projects at Caparica, Portugal. The role interfaces with subcontractors, customers and project stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will contribute to planning site operations, monitor progress, and help resolve technical and organizational challenges while promoting a strong safety culture across multidisciplinary teams. Relocation to HQ is not required.

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering.
• At least 3 years on-site experience in leading position is a plus.
• Experience in complex industrial projects (conventional or CP projects).
• In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, practices, regulations for on-site works.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; professional English and German required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the defined scope of civil works, ensuring safe execution, quality, timely completion and cost-efficient execution.
• Supervise subcontractors for civil construction activities through site inspections, coordination meetings, progress tracking and quality oversight.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and foster a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Maintain accurate site progress measurement with standard tools together with Contractors and consortium partners.
