Siemens Energy in Portugal is seeking an Electrical & Commissioning Engineer to design, commission, and support generator protection systems across European projects. You will perform on-site start-ups, develop relay configurations, and collaborate with global teams to deliver safe and compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or closely related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, commissioning, or field service focusing on generator protection systems.
• Fluency in English; German or Hungarian beneficial for project coordination.

Responsabilités

• Perform assessments, engineering evaluations, and design activities for generator protection systems.
• Develop electrical schematics, protection concepts, and relay configurations.
• Analyze customer requirements to deliver optimized engineering outcomes.
• Execute on-site commissioning, testing, and start-up for protection and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control system issues, including relay parameterization and testing.
• Collaborate with customers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare commissioning reports and test documentation with high-quality standards.
