Nonius in Maia, Portugal is seeking a Project Engineer to lead network deployment projects for hospitality-focused solutions. You will coordinate with clients, field technicians, and internal teams to deliver robust WAN/LAN networks, gateways, switches, and access points from multiple vendors.

The role requires hands-on deployment, short international trips, and strong communication skills in English, with opportunities to work across Europe and with global partners.

Qualificações

• Degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• 3+ years of Project Engineering experience in network deployment.
• Experience in WAN/LAN environments.
• Hands-on experience with gateways, switches, controllers, and APs from Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, etc., and TCP/IP.
• Willingness to travel internationally for short trips.
• Eligible to travel within Europe and internationally.
• Open to using AI tools and collaboration platforms to boost productivity.
• Proven budget management and risk mitigation abilities.
• Strong client communication and management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Project delivery for network deployments.
• Coordinate with clients during deployment.
• Configure gateways, switches, controllers, and access points.
• Coordinate with product units for content and cloud components.
• Reports execution of surveys to structured networks and wifi with Field Technicians.
• Prepare technical task reports and maintenance worksheets.
• Manage field technicians during deployment.
• Support planned field interventions and issue follow-up.
• Produce and deliver technical project reports.
• Coordinate IT operations with IT Nonius department.
