Jobgether, a partner company, seeks a Senior Learning and Development Director based in Portugal. The role leads a global learning function, covering onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and sales enablement, in collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional leaders.

The position focuses on modernizing learning via digital platforms, AI tools, and data-driven initiatives, aiming to build a high-performing global team and impact organizational culture and performance

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Learning and Development or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership or team management.
• Proven ability to design and scale company-wide learning programs.
• Experience in onboarding, leadership development, and technical/sales enablement.
• Strong data- driven approach to measure learning impact.
• Experience in global, multi-country organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global L&D strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead onboarding programs across the organization for multiple functions.
• Design leadership development for managers, leaders, and high-potential staff.
• Oversee LMS, content library, and learning technology infrastructure.
• Partner with HR and senior leaders to build career progression and succession plans.
• Establish metrics to evaluate learning impact on performance and retention.
• Coordinate all-hands and executive communications to reinforce learning culture.
