Job summary

adidas is seeking a Team Leader GBS HR Services – Hiring Operations to lead day-to-day operations across Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and France, ensuring compliant, timely hiring and employee transfer processes and a seamless candidate experience.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal and Global Process Owners to drive operational excellence, data accuracy, and improvements in onboarding and transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, management or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Hiring Administration, Employee Lifecycle Management, Shared Services or Business Services.
• Proven experience managing hiring, onboarding, employee transfer or workforce administration processes.
• Proven people leadership and operational leadership experience in a service-driven environment.
• Deep knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle administration processes.
• Experience working with HR systems and related HR technologies.
• Strong understanding of service delivery management, KPI governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end delivery of Hiring Operations and Employee Transfer services across multiple countries in line with global standards and SLAs.
• Oversee timely execution of hiring and workforce movement transactions (external and internal hires, promotions, transfers, reorganisations).
• Monitor service quality, workload, queues, resource allocation and escalation for complex cases.
• Drive resolution of process exceptions and data discrepancies with proper documentation and SOPs.
• Prepare operational performance updates, service metrics and improvement plans for leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Specialists and Senior Specialists; foster engagement and a quality-first culture.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment and succession planning activities.
• Act as primary interface for Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, Payroll, Legal and stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment-to-onboarding transitions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, local labour laws, data privacy and internal controls; support audits.
• Identify and drive process improvements, Lean, automation and digital HR solutions adoption.
