FedEx is seeking a Clearance Broker to join our Customs Clearance team in Portugal. You will review shipments data, ensure accurate and compliant clearance declarations, and liaise with customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.

You will resolve routine disputes, build strong customer relationships and help select the most suitable clearance services, all within a fast-paced office setting. The role offers learning opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Good teamwork skills contributing to team performance in a busy office
• Experience or working knowledge of clearance-related principles, Import/Export processes, CHIEF entries and flights processing
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills

Responsabilidades

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and verify documentation
• Use in-house systems to create accurate clearance declarations
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes
