FedEx Express Portugal, Unip., Lda is seeking a Clearance Broker to join our customs clearance team in Portugal. You will review shipments, prepare clearance declarations, and liaise with customers and authorities to ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and customer service in a fast-paced office setting. We offer strong training, career development, and various employee benefits as part of the FedEx global network.

Qualificações

• Dutch language proficiency at B2-C1 level (written and spoken).
• Experience in a busy office environment and team-based work.
• Knowledge of clearance principles, Import/Export processes, CHIEF entries and flight processing is an asset.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under tight deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and PC skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsabilidades

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and verify documentation.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build strong relationships with customers and advise on best clearance services.
• Work within tight timeframes in a busy office environment.
