Job summary

Qualifications

• Customs certification preferred.
• Experience in a customs environment.
• English level at least B1 (written and spoken).
• Fluent Portuguese language skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general brokerage tasks and assess duties and taxes for international package imports.
• Prepare and coordinate arrangements for aircraft/truck arrivals and communications with Customs.
• Ensure that duties and tax assessments comply with local regulations.
• Contact customers to obtain information required for customs clearance of shipments.
• Prepare reports and support the supervisor in managing the overnight team.
• Resolve issues related to customs declarations and cargo manifests.
