Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Chief Technology Officer / VP of Technology based in Portugal to lead a global energy advisory firm’s technology vision. You will own the entire tech stack, bridging internal systems with client-facing digital products and guiding AI/automation initiatives.

You will manage a distributed team across Europe and North America, drive vendor negotiations, and shape platform roadmaps while delivering business impact with speed and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technology strategy and execution across internal systems and client-facing products.
• Deep experience with Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365.
• Strong vendor negotiations and multi-country budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT across multiple countries, including network, security, IT ops, and service desk.
• Oversee internal business systems and data workflows on Dynamics 365 and related apps.
• Define roadmaps for client-facing platforms in two regions with ongoing maintenance.
• Drive AI and automation initiatives to scale operations and reduce headcount growth.
• Manage global vendor relationships, licensing, and outsourced managed services.
• Mentor a distributed technology team across time zones.
