Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Chief Technology Officer / VP of Technology based in Portugal to lead a global energy advisory firm's tech ecosystem. The role oversees enterprise IT, client-facing platforms, and cross-border teams, delivering AI and automation strategies in a lean, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technology strategy and execution within a mid-sized organization, encompassing internal business systems and client-facing digital products.
• Hands-on operational leadership style with modern tools rather than only governance.
• Strong commercial acumen with vendor negotiations, licensing optimization, and multi-country budget management.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise IT and operations across multiple countries, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, global service desk, and IAM.
• Internal business systems and reporting architecture, maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Finance & Operations, and data workflows.
• Portfolio management of client-facing platforms in two regions, defining product roadmaps, ensuring system connectivity, and driving maintenance.
• AI and automation integration, collaborating with business units to optimize processes and deploy modern tools for growth.
• Strategic technology cost management and vendor relationships across regions.
• Leadership and mentorship of a distributed, multi-country technology team.
