Job summary

Airbus Portugal SA seeks a Buyer - Communication Services (maternity cover) to lead trans-national procurement for the Communication sub-commodity within General Procurement. You will manage end-to-end tenders, negotiate contracts, and optimize TCO while ensuring strict compliance with E&C rules.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation, SRM, and knowledge of export control and sustainability laws. Fluent English is essential; French/German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years procurement background.
• Strong skills in tendering, negotiation, contracting and SRM.
• Knowledge of export control and sustainability laws.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• French and/or German is a plus.
• Familiar with Airbus E2E procurement tools and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement worldwide procurement strategies for the Communication portfolio.
• Manage end-to-end Call for Tender (CFT) process and contract negotiations.
• Optimize Total Cost of Ownership and ensure supplier deliverables meet cost, time and quality terms.
• Drive supplier relationship management and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and Ethics & Compliance rules.
