Job summary

FedEx is hiring a Clearance Broker to work with Customs for on-time clearance and delivery. You’ll ensure compliant processing of transactions, accurate data input, and clear communication with clients to obtain missing information and resolve issues.

The role requires fluency in English and German, strong attention to detail, and an ability to manage time effectively in a multinational environment. Training and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (B2 – C1) and German (B2-C1).
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Time management and able to work independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customs entry documentation based on paperwork supplied with the shipment.
• Checking if all customs documentation is completed correctly.
• Contacting clients by email to provide any missing or unclear information necessary to allow customs clearance.
• Ensure the correct identification and accurate input of shipment information into appropriate systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to support regulatory and internal compliance standards and to ensure timely clearance.
• Ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced goal orientated environment
