We are searching for a Azure Data Engineer!
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant libraries.
- Proven experience building applications with Large Language Models in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically gpt-4o and o3.
- Knowledge of Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude 3.7 Sonnet is a plus. Experience with Azure AI Services for TTS (e.g., ElevenLabs), STT (Whisper-large-v3), STS (gpt-4o-mini-realtime-preview, Azure Document Intelligence for OCR), and Embeddings (embedding-text-3-small and/or text-embedding-3-large).
- Deep understanding of the architecture and principles of Recovery Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Hands‑on experience with Large Language Model orchestration frameworks, specifically LangChain and LangGraph.
- Knowledge of Guardrails for content security and LangFuse for observability, evaluation, and feedback.
- Proven experience developing and deploying applications on Azure.
- Azure Functions and Logic Apps: Experience building serverless applications.
- Azure OpenAI Service: Experience implementing and using models such as GPT‑4 and text embedding models.
- Azure AI Search / AI Foundry: Knowledge of creating and managing vector repositories for search.
- Data Factory and Databricks for data pipelines.
- Azure Blob Storage: Familiarity with cloud storage solutions.
- CosmosDB: Knowledge of creating and managing long‑term memory.
- Application Insights: Registry knowledge.
DevOps and MLOps
- Proficiency in Docker for application containerization, with Azure Container Registry a plus.
- Experience deploying applications to multiple environments (e.g., development, production) on Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and scripting for automation, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Secrets management using Azure Key Vault, GitHub, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Knowledge of AI Foundry in creating Copilots with GenAI capabilities (Microsoft Copilot Studio Framework). (PLUS)
Key Skills
- Creating dockable grounding: configuring how Copilot fetches external data.
- Configuring Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Working with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, and vector search.
- Creating structured and custom prompts.
- Implementing plugins, external functions, and API integrations.
- Applying guardrails, security filters, and validation logic.
- Integration with Microsoft 365 (M365).
- Knowledge of integrating with the Microsoft Graph API: reading emails, calendars, OneDrive/SharePoint files, Teams meetings, etc.
- Knowledge of using M365 connectors in Power Automate to retrieve calendar events, schedule meetings, and send Teams messages.
- Graph Explorer/Postman for testing permissions and endpoints.
- Understanding of M365 licensing and API usage limits.
- Power Automate: Creating workflows triggered by Copilot interactions.
- Dataverse: Storing and retrieving structured data; Power FX: Using formulas for basic business logic.
- Power Apps (basic): For integrating with custom applications.
- Creating topics and triggers for conversational logic.
- Creating conditional flows with variables.
- Using session variables and maintaining context between interactions.
- Integrating with APIs and external services.
- Making REST API calls through custom connectors or Power Automate.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, and token-based authentication.
- Defining and optimizing generative AI models for different business scenarios.
- Training and validating GenAI models, ensuring their performance.
- Implementing GenAI solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring their efficiency.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of analytical processes through GenAI integration.
- Autonomous development of GenAI-based applications (OpenAI, AI Search).
- Autonomous development of Copilot (Microsoft) solutions.
