AMGEN is seeking a GenAI Engineer in Lisbon to design, develop, test, and deploy LLM-powered assistants and AI-enabled applications on enterprise platforms. You will implement prompt strategies, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines to ground responses in trusted data.

You will collaborate with global teams to build scalable, secure, and observable GenAI solutions using Python, TypeScript, React, and AWS services, while contributing to MCP-based apps and reusable components.

Qualificações

• Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years building/maintaining production GenAI apps or similar AI-enabled software
• Strong Python experience and building production-grade services

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy LLM-powered assistants and AI-enabled apps
• Implement prompt strategies, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines
• Develop integration layers and event-driven workflows using APIs and orchestration tools
• Build reusable Python services and, when needed, TypeScript/React components
• Ensure automated testing, monitoring, and secure integration practices
