Job summary

Aubay Portugal is hiring a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to build rich React/TypeScript applications and integrate with Django/Jinja backend templates. You’ll own features end-to-end, ensure accessibility, tests, and CI pipelines, and work in a security-conscious, Agile environment.

What will you do?

• Develop rich, interactive Frontend applications using React and TypeScript;
• Build server-rendered pages and integrate functionalities using Django and Jinja Templates;
• Own features end-to-end, from UI and component design, through accessibility and automated tests, to CI pipelines and production behavior;
• Design and write secure code, understanding how frontend and template layers can be attacked and reasoning about potential threats.

What are we looking for?

• Proven Mid-Level experience as a Frontend Developer, with strong skills in React and TypeScript;
• Solid expertise in backend integration, particularly with Django and Jinja Templates;
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and a strong commitment to Secure Coding practices;
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), coupled with strong collaboration and communication skills;
• Experience in a global or multicultural work environment;
• Alignment with our corporate culture and a commitment to integrity and ethics are highly valued;
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.
