Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Lisbon team. You will collaborate with Tech Leads, the Product Owner and analysts to evolve our platform and deliver value.

Produce frontend features with React and backend components with Python, contribute to data pipelines, and support API management and DevOps practices in an Agile environment. Hybrid work in Lisbon is offered.

What will you do?

Contribute to run and change activities related to the usage of the company platform, supporting its evolution and daily operations within the platform squad;
Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, the Product Owner, Business Analysts, and other team members, actively participating in all Agile rituals;
Leverage your expertise in Frontend development (React) for improvements and new features, alongside Python developments for various project needs;
Assist in data pipeline development and data preparation, requiring a strong command of Python;
Support the onboarding of new use cases, including country follow-up, providing technical support, and managing environment creation;
Monitor existing bot applications and follow up on incidents to ensure stability and performance, actively addressing security vulnerabilities.

What are we looking for?

A Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in development;
Expertise in Frontend development with React is mandatory, demonstrated through previous project work;
Strong proficiency in Python programming for backend tasks, data pipelines, and data preparation;
Experience with API management (e.g., APIGEE) and knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile;
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Argo CD, and an understanding of security best practices;
Professional English proficiency is required for effective communication in an international environment;
