Job summary

Aptoide is seeking a proactive Fraud & Partnerships Coordinator to safeguard payment platforms and manage vital distribution channel relationships. You will monitor fraud patterns, resolve illicit transactions, and support partner growth in a collaborative team environment.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a focus on morning availability, English proficiency, and cross-functional teamwork to drive secure, scalable partnerships globally.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Information Management degree or a related Master’s is a plus.
• Ability to analyse and interpret user data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Demonstrated skill in meeting deadlines consistently.
• Willingness to collaborate with other teams.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Morning availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payment patterns to identify fraudulent activity.

Who you are

Our dedicated Fraud & Partnerships team is responsible for both safeguarding Aptoide's payment platforms against fraud and managing strong, productive relationships with our distribution partners. On the fraud side, our mission is to contribute to a healthier payment environment within the mobile ecosystem by identifying fraudulent patterns, developing risk assessment models, and resolving illicit transactions. On the partnerships side, you'll be the day-to-day point of contact for our distribution channel partners, making sure issues get resolved fast and each partnership keeps growing. What are you going to do?

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

Fraud & Payments

• Monitoring Payment Patterns: Vigilantly watching for and identifying any fraudulent attempts.

• Dispute Resolution: Swiftly resolving illicit transactions.

• Daily Case Monitoring: Staying on top of new cases as they arise.

• Transaction Reversal: Reversing transactions associated with chargebacks and notifying developers about fraudulent transactions.

• Monthly Reporting: Compiling and presenting monthly reports on disputes and chargeback trends to the executive team.

• Customer Support: Assisting customers with payment issues related to fraud.

• Document Template Enhancement: Continuously improving templates for defense documents.

Partner Management

• Partner Relationship Management: Owning the day-to-day relationship with our distribution partners, acting as their main point of contact.

• Performance Analysis: Analysing partner performance to identify growth opportunities.

• Bottleneck Resolution: Proactively spotting and quickly resolving any bottlenecks to keep partnerships running smoothly.

What are we looking for?

We're seeking individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Being part of an information management degree orpursuing a Master's Degree in a similar area is a plus.

• Proficiency in analysing and interpreting user data.

• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

• Demonstrated skill in meeting deadlines consistently.

• Willingness and ability to work closely with other teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capable of working independently, flexibly, and proactively within a small team.
