Accenture Digital Core in Lisbon is seeking an Android Native Developer to build, maintain and support business-critical mobile apps using Kotlin and native Android technologies.

You will contribute to the full application lifecycle—from analysis and development to production support and controlled releases, working across seniority levels from Junior to Lead in a CET-aligned, hybrid Lisbon environment.

Competenze

• Experience in native Android development appropriate to the relevant seniority level.
• Experience working with production applications, including incidents and releases.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery model.
• Experience with monitoring or observability platforms is valued.
• Coordination experience is expected for senior and lead profiles.
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly Financial Services, is considered an advantage.

This is an Android Native Developer role focused on building, maintaining and supporting business-critical mobile applications using Kotlin and native Android technologies. You will contribute to the complete application lifecycle, including technical analysis, development, integration, production support, monitoring and controlled releases. What You'll Do

• Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and the traditional Android View system with XML layouts;
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and services, considering authentication, role-based access and cross-system dependencies;
• Configure and maintain application builds, code protection and delivery processes using Gradle, ProGuard or DexGuard, Jenkins and source-control platforms;
• Investigate production incidents, troubleshoot and debug application issues, perform root cause analysis and monitor platform health;
• Support application releases across testing and production environments, including planned weekend releases and urgent technical changes;
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams, contributing to engineering standards, documentation and continuous improvement

Profile & Other Requirements

• Professional English at C1 level, spoken and written, is mandatory;
• French and/or Dutch are considered an advantage;
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed and international teams;
• Proactive mindset, ownership and commitment to continuous learning;
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation capabilities;
• Willingness to participate in on-call support and planned releases outside normal business hours when required;
• Alignment with CET working hours is mandatory;
• Lisbon-based hybrid working model;
• Must reside in Portugal and have legal permission to work in Portugal.
• Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space nationality to legally work in Portugal.
