FP&A Lead - European Planning & Insights

Job summary

Hiscox SA in Lisbon is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support the European Planning team in budgeting and forecasts, partnering with European Functions, Projects and Technology to deliver planning data and insightful commentary. You will analyze variances and drive improvements while supporting the consolidation of European accounting into Hiscox Group.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP/Oracle knowledge, fluency in English, and willingness to travel within Europe as needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of experience supporting or delivering a Business Planning agenda.
• Experience within Finance in an international or multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and facilitate process change and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning data submissions with data owners across Europe.
• Partner with cost centre owners and European Functions to deliver planning data and commentary.
• Deliver analysis on key drivers of profitability and variances between Budget, Reforecast and Actuals.
• Support ad hoc analyses and process improvements within the Finance team.
