Job summary

Simplifae is seeking an analytical FP&A / Financial Controller to join the Business Control team. You will participate in financial planning, monthly close cycles, and management reporting across multiple European entities, mainly Portugal, Spain and Poland.

This hands-on role requires ownership of controlling activities, with strong Excel, Power BI, and ERP/EPM knowledge. English is the working language; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A, financial controlling, or Big 4/audit experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Reporting: ensure timely closures and prepare monthly management reports.
• Planning & Budgeting: coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Cost & OPEX control: monitor expenses and headcount, enforce governance.
• KPIs reporting: track revenue, ARR, sales, OPEX, working capital.
• Ad-Hoc analysis: build financial models for business cases.
