Job summary

H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Financial Analyst to gather, interpret, and transform complex data into actionable insights that improve processes and drive cost efficiency across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with Operations and Plant leadership to explain financial implications of daily activities. This role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analyses, with strong Excel and ERP (SAP) experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing finance preferred.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations leadership with financial analysis to improve performance.
• Prepare post-close financial analyses and explain variances versus budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Develop financial models for productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in quarterly forecasts and the annual operating budget.
• Prepare recurring management reports including monthly outlooks and budgets.
