Waldyn is seeking a hands-on full-stack developer to own client projects end-to-end, from initial conversations to production. You will define data models, APIs, frontend, and deployment, delivering a prototype within the first week and guiding architecture decisions across multiple engagements.

Work involves production-grade systems with multi-tenant architectures, asynchronous jobs, and robust security reviews. Strong communication in Portuguese and English is required.

• Ability to hold the whole system in your head, from data origin to end users.
• Comfort with authentication, authorization, multi-tenancy, migrations and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Track adoption after go-live and iterate until actually used.
• Run multiple projects in parallel across different clients.
• Improve internal tooling and delivery patterns between projects.
• Design the system, not just the feature: data model, service boundaries, state and event flow, background jobs, integration surfaces, and failure paths.
• Build with real complexity: multi-tenant platforms, permission models, orchestration, long-running processes, data pipelines.
• Decide what to build, buy or leave out, and defend it to the client.
• Design for growth: more tenants, more data, more users without rewrites.

Waldyn builds AI systems that go into production inside large organisations. We are eight months old, working with Glintt, Teleperformance and Atena Equity Partners, and expanding into the Portuguese mid-market.

Most enterprise AI stops at the pilot. Our job is to get it past that point and into daily use. We are looking for a full-stack developer who owns projects end to end and moves fast enough that the client's inertia never catches up.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own client projects from first conversation to production: data model, API, front end, deployment, go-live.


• Build a working prototype within the first week of a new engagement.


• Make the architecture decisions and live with them.


• Take systems into production properly: authentication, multi-tenancy, logging, error handling, real users and real data.


• Integrate with existing client systems and get through IT and security review.


• Track adoption after go-live and iterate until the system is actually used.


• Run two or three projects in parallel across different clients.


• Improve our internal tooling and delivery patterns between projects.


• Design the system, not just the feature: data model, service boundaries, state and event flow, background jobs, integration surfaces, and the failure paths.


• Build things with real complexity: multi-tenant platforms, permission and role models, agent and workflow orchestration, long-running processes, data pipelines feeding live products.


• Make the call on what to build, what to buy and what to leave out, and defend it to the client.


• Design for what happens when it grows: more tenants, more data, more users, more edge cases, without a rewrite.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• People who are out of the box and divergent thinkers.


• Full-stack capability.


• Experience integrating with third-party.


• Portuguese and English.


• Track record designing systems with real moving parts, not CRUD apps: state that has to stay consistent, jobs that run asynchronously, integrations that fail, permissions that matter.


• Ability to hold the whole system in your head — where the data comes from, what breaks when a dependency goes down, what happens on the tenth client rather than the first.


• Comfort with the parts most people avoid: authentication and authorisation, multi-tenancy, migrations, observability, error recovery.


• Judgement on complexity itself: knowing when a problem deserves an elegant architecture and when it deserves the boring thing that ships this week.
