Job description

Noxus is building the process intelligence layer for the age of AI labor.

We help regulated enterprises redesign and run complex operations with AI workers. These workers read inbound requests, understand documents, gather evidence across systems, apply policies, request approvals and write outcomes back into core operational tools with full traceability.

Enterprise AI has to work alongside people, legacy systems and operational constraints. Noxus is built for environments where critical work spans SAP, Oracle, CRM platforms and bespoke internal software. We give enterprises the execution layer to design, deploy, govern and improve AI labor in production.

We have customers live in production. We are now growing our Forward Deployment Team to help more enterprises turn complex operational problems into working AI deployments.

The role

We are hiring a Deployment Strategist in Lisbon to own the business side of customer deployments, from understanding how an operation works to making sure the solution delivers measurable results.

You will work directly with customer leadership, operational teams and Noxus engineers. You will identify the right problems to solve, redesign processes around AI workers and drive the decisions and execution needed to get them into production.

We are looking for someone with experience at McKinsey or BCG who wants to take direct responsibility for implementation and outcomes. You should bring structured thinking, confidence with senior stakeholders and exceptional energy for getting things done.

This is a hands‑on role. You will lead a discovery workshop, work through process exceptions with an operational team, turn what you learn into clear requirements and follow up until a blocker is resolved. You should enjoy moving between detailed analysis and practical execution, often within the same day.

What you will do
  • Lead customer discovery to understand how work actually gets done, including systems, policies, handoffs, exceptions and approval requirements.
  • Identify and prioritise processes where AI workers can create meaningful value, balancing business impact with implementation feasibility.
  • Build the business case for each deployment, establishing baselines and clear measures of success such as cycle time, cost per case, accuracy and capacity.
  • Translate operational problems into clear process designs, requirements and acceptance criteria that Noxus engineers can build against.
  • Drive delivery alongside the engineering team, keeping scope, milestones, customer responsibilities and decisions clear.
  • Build trust across executive sponsors, operational teams and IT, resolving blockers and maintaining momentum throughout the engagement.
  • Support testing, rollout and adoption, making sure the solution works in the conditions customers face every day.
  • Measure results after launch and use what you learn to improve deployments, identify further opportunities and inform the Noxus product.
What we are looking for
  • Experience at McKinsey or BCG, with evidence of strong performance and personal ownership of demanding workstreams.
  • Based in Lisbon and ready to work closely with the Noxus team and customers.
  • Exceptional energy and a strong bias for action: you create momentum, take initiative and follow through without needing to be chased.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and the ability to turn an ambiguous business problem into a clear, practical plan.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and the curiosity to understand the details with the people doing the work.
  • Evidence of driving implementation or organisational change and staying accountable for the result.
  • A serious interest in AI and the willingness to learn the capabilities and constraints of the Noxus platform in depth.
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to work closely with engineers on workflows, data and integrations. Software engineering experience is not required.
  • Clear communication in Portuguese and English, including the ability to explain complex ideas plainly.
  • High ownership and sound judgement when priorities change, information is incomplete or a customer needs a decision.
  • Take responsibility for AI deployments that change how enterprises operate.
  • Work directly with the founders, engineers and customer leadership, with a short path from an idea to implementation.
  • See the results of your work in live operations and build deep experience in enterprise AI.
  • Help shape the methods, standards and culture of a growing Forward Deployment Team.
