Hexa Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to support cloud financial governance, cost optimization and operational visibility across complex cloud environments in a hybrid model based in Lisbon.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, cloud platform, data and application teams to strengthen FinOps practices, automation and decision support. Strong Azure exposure and a data-driven mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management or Cloud Governance.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to transform cost data into actionable information.
• Excellent communication with technical, operational and executive stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and report cloud consumption, costs and forecasts.
• Define and improve cloud cost governance & budget processes.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities through rightsizing and commitment models.
• Support showback and chargeback models through better cost allocation and tagging.
• Evolve FinOps platforms with data integration, automation and anomaly detection.
• Integrate FinOps into infrastructure as code and governance processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support financial estimates and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to support cloud financial governance, cost optimization and operational visibility across complex cloud environments, in a hybrid model based in Lisbon. This role is mainly technical and will work closely with infrastructure, architecture, cloud platform, data and application teams to strengthen FinOps practices, automation and decision support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor, analyze and report cloud consumption, cost trends and financial forecasts across cloud services.
• Define and improve cloud cost governance controls, budget support processes and operational reporting models.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities through rightsizing, consumption analysis, commitment models and architecture review.
• Support showback and chargeback models by improving cost allocation, tagging quality and metadata governance.
• Contribute to the evolution of FinOps platforms, including data integration, automation and anomaly detection.
• Integrate FinOps practices into infrastructure as code, cloud onboarding and governance processes.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to support financial estimates, architecture forums and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3 to 5 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management or Cloud Governance, with strong practical exposure to Microsoft Azure.
• Technical profile with experience working with infrastructure, architecture and cloud platform teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to transform complex cost and usage data into actionable information.
• Good communication skills with technical, operational and executive stakeholders.
• Autonomy, critical thinking, proactivity and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments and promote FinOps adoption across teams.
