Cushman & Wakefield in Porto, Portugal, is hiring a Financial Analyst to manage the financial operations for a portfolio of properties. You will handle lease administration, budgeting, variance tracking, and financial reporting, coordinating with accounting and property management teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and at least 1 year of real estate financial experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Yardi is a plus.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the financial management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the financial obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all lease administration/ financial duties, including AP/AR.
• Ensure compliance with financial property management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental directives
• Preparation of operating and capital budgets, track variances, perform year-end reconciliations, and ensure smooth recovery process
• Accurately abstract all property leases in lease administration software
• Maintain interface with third-party owners and accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting
• Participate in financial and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between accountants and property management team members in order to achieve client’s goals and objectives
• Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, clients and third-party entities

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

• At least 1 year of real estate financial management or related financial experience
• Strong knowledge of finance
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and deliver.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Yardi
