Finance Manager – Lisbon, Portugal
At CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) we are looking for a Finance Manager to provide financial leadership and drive strategic decision-making for our Business Unit in Lisbon, Portugal. This role is at the heart of our finance team, enabling accuracy, efficiency, and insightful analysis that supports the business’s financial success.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, particularly within the Business Unit – become a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with Contract Managers, Project Managers, and senior team members to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Prepare accurate and timely Business Unit reports, including comprehensive financial analysis, in line with company timelines.
- Master contract governance, ensuring financial compliance and maximizing profitability within contractual frameworks.
- Lead the annual planning process, providing insightful forecasting and identifying key performance indicators.
- Ensure adherence to CBRE’s financial policies and statutory requirements – maintain the integrity of our financial operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Contract Support team – build a high‑performing and motivated group.
- Optimize financial processes by leveraging CBRE’s systems and reporting tools – drive efficiency and best practices.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve potential business risks and opportunities to enhance financial performance – be a strategic partner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a business unit or from an audit background.
- A strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting – you know your numbers!
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – build strong relationships and communicate complex information clearly.
- The ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations – be a problem solver.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis – bring your strategic thinking to the table.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools – be tech‑savvy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills – stay on top of deadlines and priorities.
- The ability to lead by example – inspire and empower others.
