Job summary

H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Financial Analyst to gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results.

The role focuses on supporting operations analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and daily plant financial activities within a global adhesives leader. The successful candidate will work closely with plant leadership, develop financial models for productivity, and prepare scenario analyses for investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• +3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing or operations finance preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a Finance Business Partner.

Responsibilities

• 50% Operations Analysis and Support: provide financial analysis to improve business performance and assist in productivity/cost-saving initiatives.
• 35% Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning Support: assist in quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and capital investment evaluations.
• 15% Day-to-Day Plant Financial Operations: explain financial impact of transactional activities and support plant leadership with reports.
