Job summary

H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Credit Specialist to join our Global Finance Services team. You will help protect the company's financial position by ensuring timely collection of receivables and managing credit risk, collaborating with customers, Sales, and Finance to improve cash flow.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience; SAP and Excel proficiency preferred. We offer a collaborative, multinational environment with opportunities for growth; Hybrid work arrangement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years' relevant experience in credit, AR, or finance.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience analyzing financial or customer account data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue balances.
• Develop collection strategies to support timely payment.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and process gaps.
• Assess order releases against credit limits and aging.
• Evaluate customer credit risk and recommend credit limits.
• Partner with Sales to mitigate customer credit risks.
• Monitor and contribute to AR KPIs and targets.
• Support AR reporting and continuous process improvements.
