Job summary

Randstad NV in Lisbon is seeking a Finance Master Data Manager to oversee Finance master data, including cost centers, project codes and chart of accounts, ensuring data quality across the SAP environment and with group standards.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Controlling, Tax & Customs and Internal Control to harmonize data, lead data management projects, and partner cross-functionally with HR and Supply Chain in a hybrid Lisbon-based role.

The Challenge: A New Finance SSC in Lisbon

To support its continuous growth and strategic vision, the company is building a brand-new Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Lisbon. This hub will become the engine of their international operations, centralizing key transactional processes for Europe and North America within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

About the Role

As the Finance Master Data Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee, manage, and implement Finance-related master data (cost centers, project codes, chart of accounts, etc.). You will act as the Finance Data Owner, working closely with Finance function leaders (Accounting, Controlling, Tax & Customs, Internal Control) to ensure data quality and consistency while maintaining strong interaction with all Group entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Ownership: Take ownership of Finance master data, including monitoring, management, creation, and implementation in the system (SAP).
• Data Quality & Reliability: Ensure the reliability of Finance master data, aligned with Group standards and consistent across systems.
• Finance Data Owner: Define master data management rules, document attributes, own the repositories, and determine future developments.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with SAP project teams and business functions to understand and anticipate business needs and system developments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: In collaboration with the DDVC team, coordinate the ecosystem (Finance, COE, IT, and Data) and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (HR, Supply Chain) to ensure a unified and reliable view of data.
• Project Leadership: Lead Finance master data management and harmonization projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting, audit, or management control.
• Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, or Audit.
• Technical Skills: Strong Finance and Accounting skills, with proficiency in SAP and Excel. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation are essential.
• Mindset & Competencies: Proactive, autonomous, rigorous, and methodical. Strong ability for cross-functional business partnering.

What We Offer

• Hybrid work model (2 days of remote work per week) based in Lisbon.
• Base salary: €45,000 – €60,000 per year.
