Job summary

• Contribute to process design and improvement projects with Procure-to-Pay and inventory teams.
• Deploy compliance programs and provide training to promote awareness of risks and controls.

The Challenge: A New Finance SSC in Lisbon

To support its continuous growth and strategic vision, the company is building a brand-new Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Lisbon. This hub will become the engine of their international operations, centralizing key transactional processes for Europe and North America within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

About the Role

As an Internal Controller, your main mission will be to identify and anticipate risks that could affect the achievement of the Group's strategic objectives, detect early warning signals through an internal control system, and contribute to the implementation of appropriate action plans. The role will be instrumental in strengthening the effectiveness and maturity of the Group's internal control framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Action Plan Monitoring: Monitor action plans arising from internal audits, risk and internal control self-assessments, and external reviews, issuing a monthly dashboard.
• Self-Assessment Campaigns: Coordinate the annual internal control self-assessment campaign and analyze the results. Conduct on-site or remote reviews of these self-assessments.
• Framework Review: Participate in the annual review of the internal control framework (ITGC, ITAC, CSRD, Sapin II, etc.).
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process design and improvement projects with the relevant functions (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, physical inventory).
• Compliance & Training: Participate in the deployment of compliance programs. Provide training and promote awareness of risks and internal controls across the functions.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Education: Master's degree in Finance (Accounting/Audit/Management Control) or a Business School degree.
• Technical Skills: Strong Finance and Accounting skills, paired with a solid understanding of business challenges and associated processes. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data handling. SAP experience is highly valued (nice to have).
• Mindset & Competencies: Excellent business partnering skills with operations; ability to challenge stakeholders with impact and confidence. Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Languages: Professional English, written and spoken (C1 level).

What We Offer

• Hybrid work model (2 days of remote work per week) based in Lisbon, with occasional travel (around 10%).
• Base salary: €28,000 - €50,000 per year.
